Inuyama Castle, located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, is one of the oldest surviving castles in Japan, built in 1537. It is designated a National Treasure, and is famous for its original wooden donjon (main keep) and breathtaking views over the Kiso River.

  • Inuyama Castle was built by Oda Nobuyasu, the uncle of the famous warlord Oda Nobunaga.
