The train operation plan for August 29th (Thursday) in response to the impact of Typhoon No. 10 is as follows: Even in areas where normal operations are planned, there may be cancellations or delays depending on the typhoon's trajectory and weather conditions. Please check the "Operation Information" section on the JR Kyushu website for the latest updates.
・Kyushu Shinkansen & Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen

・Section Hakata to Kumamoto
Trains will run with reduced frequency from the first service. Operations will be suspended from around 8:00 AM for the rest of the day.
No direct services will operate between the Sanyo Shinkansen and Kyushu Shinkansen (Mizuho, Sakura).
・Section Kumamoto to Kagoshima-Chuo
Operations will be suspended for the entire day starting from the first service.
