The JR Group will begin selling the 2025 Summer “Seishun 18 Ticket” and “Seishun 18 Ticket Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket” starting Friday, July 4, 2025.
🎫 Seishun 18 Ticket
The Seishun 18 Ticket allows unlimited travel on JR local and rapid trains (non-reserved seating), JR-operated BRT (on certain sections), and the JR West Miyajima Ferry.

🚄 Seishun 18 Ticket Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket
This option supports travel between Honshu and Hokkaido and can be used once per Seishun 18 Ticket for a one-way ride on the following sections:

South Hokkaido Railway (Dōnan Isaribi Tetsudō): Kikonai – Goryokaku

Price: ¥4,650 (valid for 1 day, same price for adults & children)
