JR East will operate a special charter train in conjunction with the "Hokuriku Destination Campaign." While direct Shinkansen services between Sendai Station and Kanazawa Station have been operated four times since the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, this will be the first time that a train departs from and terminates at Morioka Station.
The train will run on November 29, 2024 (Morioka → Tsuruga) and November 30, 2024 (Tsuruga → Morioka). Major stops include Morioka, Ichinoseki, Sendai, Fukushima, Koriyama, Toyama, Kanazawa, Fukui, and Tsuruga, along with stations between Omiya and Tsuruga, such as Kurobe-Unazuki Onsen. However, boarding and alighting stations will vary depending on the travel agency. The train tickets will be sold exclusively as part of travel packages from various agencies, and individual seat sales will not be available.
