Design:
- Theme: "Evolution from the Nanboku Line Vehicles"
- Line Color: Green
- Front Shape: Inherited the "bent shape" of the 1000N series
Interior:
- Color Scheme: Based on white and green, following the color pattern of the 1000N series
- Seat Pattern: Inspired by the zelkova tree-lined street of Jozenji-dori
Interior Environment:
- Cooling Capacity: Increased by 1.5 times
- Body: Aluminum double structure and use of double-glazed windows for improved sound insulation
Universal Design:
- Increased wheelchair and stroller spaces by two locations
- Lower floor design: Reduced the gap between the platform and the current vehicles, which is about 7 cm and a height difference of about 6 cm, to approximately 3 cm (adjustable with gap adjustment materials) and a height difference of about 2 cm in the new vehicles, facilitating smoother boarding and alighting.
