Klook is partnering with JR Central, JR West, and JR Kyushu to launch a new ticketing service for inbound tourists that allows direct boarding of the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen using a QR code. This service significantly improves convenience by eliminating the need for ticket exchanges at station vending machines.

Service Features
- Simply scan the QR code displayed on your smartphone at the ticket gate to board the Shinkansen.
- This system allows smooth boarding without using ticket machines, making it especially convenient for foreign travelers.
How to Reserve
- Open the Klook app and tap the "Transport" icon.
- Enter your departure and arrival stations, as well as the date of travel.
- Choose your desired train and seating type (unreserved, reserved, or Green Car).
- For reserved seats, you can select specific options such as a “Mt. Fuji view seat” or “large luggage seat.”
- Complete the payment to receive your QR code.
