Keisei Electric Railway Launches "Skyliner e-ticket Face Check in Go" Service
Starting January 24, 2025 (Friday), Keisei Electric Railway will introduce a new boarding service utilizing facial recognition technology for the "Skyliner e-ticket." This innovation eliminates the need for prior ticket exchange at ticket counters or vending machines, allowing for a smoother Skyliner experience.

Overview of the Service
The new "Skyliner e-ticket Face Check in Go" enables passengers to board the Skyliner using facial recognition. By registering facial information in advance, passengers can seamlessly pass through ticket gates.
Traditional Methods Remain Available
For passengers wishing to select specific seats or change their Skyliner reservations, traditional ticket exchanges at counters or vending machines are still required.
Eligible Ticket Types
Only the one-way "Skyliner e-ticket" is eligible for this service. Round-trip tickets or combo tickets like the "Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket" are not included.
Eligible Stations
Facial recognition gates will be available at the following four stations:
- Keisei Ueno Station
- Nippori Station (North Gate, A Gate only)
- Airport Terminal 2 Station
- Narita Airport Station
Service Start Date
- January 24, 2025 (Friday)
- Tickets purchased and paid for on or after this date will be eligible. Facial recognition boarding will be possible after registering facial information.
