■ Usage Notes
- Compatible with automatic ticket gates.
- Not valid for Limited Express, Express, or Shinkansen trains (except certain special sections).
- Some non-JR lines can be used under specific conditions.
[Seishun 18 Ticket Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket] Overview
A supplementary ticket that enables travel between Honshu and Hokkaido when combined with the Seishun 18 Ticket.
■ Applicable Sections
- Hokkaido Shinkansen: Between Shin-Aomori and Kikonai.
- South Hokkaido Railway Line: Between Kikonai and Goryokaku (one-way, single-use).
■ Sales Period

■ Valid Usage Period
March 11, 2025 (Sat) – April 10, 2025 (Thu)
■ Prices
- For purchases made by March 31, 2025: ¥4,500
- For purchases made on or after April 1, 2025: ¥4,650
■ Usage Notes
- Must be used in combination with the Seishun 18 Ticket. Cannot be used alone.
- Compatible with automatic ticket gates (insert both the Seishun 18 Ticket and Option Ticket together).
- Only Kikonai Station allows stopovers on the South Hokkaido Railway Line.
